About Kingman
The City of Kingman is the County seat of Mohave County located in northwest Arizona along Interstate 40 and U.S. 93. Mohave County is the fastest growing county in Arizona. Kingman elevations range from 3,300 to 3,800 feet. The city straddles the scenic Hualapai, Cerbat and Black Mountains, which offer hiking, picnicking, camping, and other outdoor activities in the cool pines. The Kingman and Colorado River areas offer a unique range of recreational and historical attractions as do several ghost towns in the area. The rivers and lakes offer fishing along with boating and other forms of water-oriented recreation. Kingman is an easy commute to Las Vegas, Laughlin, Phoenix and the Grand Canyon or a half day’s drive to Los Angeles or San Diego. More About Kingman www.cityofkingman.gov

Economics & Opportunity
Kingman is a regional trade, service, and distribution center for northwestern Arizona. Its proximity to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Laughlin, and the Grand Canyon has made tourism, manufacturing/distribution, and transportation its leading industries. The fully developed rail-served Kingman Airfield & Industrial Park, with reasonable land costs, continues to attract large manufactures and retail distributors who need to serve the Western states.

Education
Kingman Unified School District www.kusd.org continues to meet or exceed state mandated education standards. There are six elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and a unique K-12 campus. Perhaps one of the best parts of living in a smaller community is just how involved the community is with the education of their children.

The local School Board is composed of five citizens elected to serve terms of four years each. As a smaller community you’ll get a chance to know these board members, maybe even run for the board yourself one day.

The community is also home to one of multiple Mohave Community College www.mohave.edu campuses.

Healthcare
The Kingman community is served by Kingman Regional Medical Center www.azkrmc.com, a non-profit community hospital. KRMC offers the advantages of a full range of health and wellness services, including a wellness and fitness center, a primary care physician practice (Cerbat Medical Center), advanced medical programs in cardiology, oncology, and rehabilitation, and home health and hospice care

Most recently, MedCath Corporation, owner of the esteemed Arizona Heart Hospital www.azhearthospital.com, recently announced they will also be building a hospital in the Kingman Community.
