Please, don’t misconstrue the purpose behind our Environment section. We’re not out to save the world, we only want to preserve the natural beauty that Kingman is nationally known for. We want everyone to enjoy the clean air, clean water, open spaces, and the natural habitat.

The average American household consumes over 100,000 gallons of water and generates over 22 tons of carbon dioxide each year. The United States is responsible for 21% of carbon dioxide emissions, yet we have less than 5% of the world’s population. Of course, the average American doesn’t make a conscience effort in generating this waste, and asking people to change their lifestyle isn’t very convenient either – That’s where we come in. We build homes that provide extraordinary comfort and luxury while reducing pollution and perhaps best of all, saving the homeowner money, now that’s convenient and easy!

Electricity
Electricity is a necessity of everyday living. It fuels our entertainment, allows us to communicate to family and friends, it keeps our food cold, and makes cooking a breeze.

Although electricity is transparent to the user, it isn’t as transparent when it’s produced, and nobody really wants a power plant as their next door neighbor. To help save homeowners money and reduce out dependence on dirty power generation, each Eagle View Home makes Solar Energy easy, and since the panels are predominantly hidden behind a parapet wall, it doesn’t even affect curb appeal.

Water
Fresh, clean drinking water isn’t a daily concern for most Americans. As long as you’ve paid your water bill, just turn on the tap and there you’ll find it, predominantly clean water. Water is something, your local government, county, and up the government ladder is more concerned with. They buy it, trade it, and sell it. It’s used for a wide variety of tasks besides just for drinking. It waters agricultural fields for food, used to cool power plants, softens soil before for grading, hoses off the driveway, and of course, washes your car.

As water applies to homes, we’re more concerned with the water consumption you really don’t notice but certainly adds up. So where we can, we use low consumption fixtures in areas you won’t notice, like toilets and appliances like dishwashers, and we make it easier for homeowners to use reclaimed water for landscaping. The end result, you’re saving water without really trying.

Global Warming
The hot topic of the decade, Global Warming. Scientists speculate that over the past 400,000 years, the average global temperatures have been as high as six degrees. We’re not scientists so we won’t pretend to understand the significance of six-degrees over 400,000 years, but since they say it, it must be special. Homes contribute to rising level of Carbon Dioxide predominately through energy use; since our homes a specially designed to conserve energy, you’ll be able to tell your friends and family your minimizing your contribution to Global Warming. Al Gore will be so proud of you.

Polluted Water Runoff
Polluted water runoff is a big issue in metropolitan communities. With Kingman’s predicted growth it may even be an issue in our city one day, and that’s why we even considered the small details, like using safer termite pre treatments, self-sustaining landscaping, and specially designed water run-off paths.
